Golf and shopping aplenty around Algarve villas

Those who opt to seek out Algarve villas have plenty of places to explore, no matter the time of year they travel.

One of the most popular pursuits around this Portuguese region is golf venues, with plenty of eye-catching choices to pick out.

For example, the Quinta do Lago course has been the host of the Portuguese Open on occasion and is only a stone's throw from Almancil.

Meanwhile, people staying in villas in the Algarve near to the Bay of Lagos may instead want to check out the Palmares Golf Course, which comes packed with 18 holes.

Fashionistas who would rather splash the cash on clothes for when they head out around the Algarve on night outs will be in good company in the town of Guia, near Albufeira.

Here, families will be able to spend some time looking around Algarve Shopping, a huge complex filled with designer stores, inviting restaurants and even a cinema.
