Fun activities aplenty around Algarve villas
There are plenty of entertaining sights to behold if families opt to take holidays to the Algarve during the spring or summer months.
A variety of fun-filled activities and attractions are coming to the in-demand Portuguese destination in the months ahead.
Fans of the beach will be in their element should they decide to take in the FIESA event, an annual international sand sculpture festival which adopts a different theme each year.
For the 2012 edition of the event, holiday makers are tasked with creating eye-catching sculptures based around the animal kingdom in the town of Armacao de Pera.
Once people have tired of showing off their creative skills, a trip to the resort of Guia to enjoy the attractions held at the ZooMarine could prove an appealing choice.
Guests who step through the gates of this theme park can get up close with such tropical animals as dolphins, exotic birds and turtles, to name just a few highlights.
