First Festival of Via Algarviana coming to the Algarve
People who take up last-minute stays in Algarve villas will be able to explore a new attraction in the region this weekend.
The first Festival of Via Algarviana will be held across the area on October 15th and 16th, with sights to excite the whole family.
Held in the village of Furnazinhas and various locations in the municipality of Castro Marim, attendees will be able to explore a range of cultural and recreational attractions.
These include arts and crafts activities, eye-catching nature trails, spectacular mountain bike rides and environmental education events.
One of the main aims of the Festival of Via Algarviana is to establish greater trade for local infrastructure, eateries and businesses across this part of the Algarve.
The attraction will also get more villages in the region involved in events which are organised by Via Algarviana.
Meanwhile, fans of nature may be intrigued to book up villas in the Algarve when they hear that the Sagres Birdwatching Festival led to the sighting of 116 different varieties of birds.
