Fashion auction available to those taking holidays to the Algarve
Those taking holidays to the Algarve have been told of a fashion auction which is to take place in the region.
Paul Felix, founder of Pica Pica, a fashion boutique in the Portuguese resort, has set up a silent auction, to raise money for the regional Algarve Oncology Association, Portugal News reported.
Taking place between the dates of March 4th and 5th, the fundraiser will work in a method that the entire stock of Mr Felix's store will be up for auction.
Each item will be reduced and the new price tags will need to be met. From this, customers will be able to set their bids, with the person making the highest offer being awarded the product.
Mr Felix commented: "Many of us at some point will be, or have been, touched by someone who has succumbed to, or survived cancer, I have lost relatives and a friend [to the disease]."
To aid with the bids, those taking trips to villas in the Algarve have been told that the destination offers the best value for money, according to the Post Office Worldwide Holiday Costs Barometer.
