Enjoy the Allgarve 09 activities on an Algarve villa holiday

Organised in conjunction with Portugal's major tourism agencies, the promotional initiative will include number of events, which will take place across the region all summer until October.

They will include music concerts from the likes of Joss Stone, Seal and Madeleine Peyroux, as well as art exhibitions and sporting events.

Dance will also firm part of the Allgarve 09 programme of activities, with a number of parties and dance classes being held on the beaches.

Full details of the events will be released soon, but there is sure to be something for all of those heading to the Algarve at some point over the next few months.

Those hoping to take full advantage of what's on offer could rent a villa in Gale, Albufeira, which is located in the centre of the Algarve so could be a great base from which to explore the region and attend the events.

It is also home to numerous bars and restaurants, as well as a long sandy beach.
