Enjoy some jazz on an Algarve villa holiday

There will be some classy entertainment on offer to music fans taking Algarve villa holidays this year, with Dianne Reeves set to perform in Portimao.

The American jazz singer will take to the stage at the Municipal Theatre on May 16th.

Reeves will perform with a quartet to showcase material from her new album When You Know.

Algarve villa guests who make it to the concert could hear renditions of songs such as Just My Imagination by the Temptations and Loving You by Minnie Riperton.

The singer has received four Grammy Awards during her career, three of which came in subsequent years from 2001 to 2003 for her albums In the Moment, The Calling and A Little Moonlight.

Reeves' show at the Portimao Municipal Theatre has been arranged as part of the Allgarve '10 season, which will see several events take place in southern Portugal.

People taking Algarve villa holidays will be able to attend art exhibitions and food fairs, as well as sporting contests such as the Vodafone Rally of Portugal meeting from May 27th to 30th.
