With legendary band U2 set to perform in Portugal and south-west Spain in the coming weeks, a holiday to the Algarve may be the ideal opportunity to catch them live.
The Irish performers, led by singer Bono, are currently in the midst of a global tour that contains a substantial European leg.
On October 2nd and 3rd they will play in Coimbra, having completed a gig just across the Spanish border in Sevilla two nights previously.
A holiday in the Algarve may be the perfect base from which to attend any of the concerts and enjoy hits such as Beautiful Day, With or Without You, Vertigo and Stuck In a Moment.
U2 are known for putting on a spectacular show, such as their performance in front of a sold-out Rose Bowl in California on the first part of the 360 tour.
The Telegraph recently reported on another highlight of taking a holiday in the Algarve – a brand new sculpture park in Vilamoura containing ten huge and prestigious pieces.
