Grab yourself a late deal >Book an Algarve holiday and shop 'til you drop
There are already plenty of shopping outlets for tourists to visit during their Algarve holidays, but soon there will be one more.
According to the Portugal News Online, the largest shopping centre in the area is due to open at the beginning of 2011, housing 132 shops and seven key stores.
It will also contain more than 20 restaurants, so holiday makers will be able to spend the whole day there buying souvenirs and enjoying delicious meals.
The outlet will be located in Aqua Portimao and will host a number of well known international brands as well as Portuguese retailers.
Covering an area of 35,500 square metres, the centre will also have a 1,800-space car park, so tourists will be able to drive there.
Those renting Algarve villas in Silves will be well placed to travel to Aqua Portimao for a shopping trip.
Silves is an inland town surrounded by beautiful countryside, with stunning views across the citrus groves.
It is also just a short drive from the coast for those who want to spend an afternoon or two sunbathing on the beach.
