Algarve villas 'ideal for wining and dining'
There are plenty of reasons why private villas in the Algarve could make for a perfect get away this summer.
Jet2.com noted down a few of the top attractions to this Portuguese destination, soon after increased flights to it.
For one, couples are sure to have a great time if they head along to one of the winery venues in the Algarve, with wine growing in the region dating back to around 2000 B.C.
The news source noted: "Due to the Algarve's exceptional climate and rich soil, the region is suitable for wine growing."
Loved-up partners will be able to enjoy sipping a selection of wine while enjoying a range of "delicious regional dishes" too, with seafood soups, oregano snails, 'cataplana' clams and roasted dried octopus on the grill in Lagos style just a few of the recipes on offer.
The Financial Times recently recommended people taking a holiday to the Algarve to consider staying in the resort of Vale do Lobo, with up to 15 restaurants on offer for couples, as well as two kilometres of stunning beaches.
