Algarve to house Cores Do Sul art exhibition
People with a soft spot for art should be sure to book up villas in the Algarve this autumn to ensure their catch a new exhibition.
The Portuguese destination will be host to the Cores Do Sul – or Colours of the South – exhibit between October 15th and November 16th.
Held jointly by Kerstin Wagner and David Trubshaw, the attraction can be found at the Convento de S. Jose venue, located in Lagoa.
People who catch the event can witness a raft of paintings which have been put together by Wagner and Trubshaw.
Themes range from the Algarve coastline to cloud formations, spectacular forest scenes and seascapes.
Holiday makers may be inclined to purchase some of the pieces on offer when they hear that the two artists have confirmed that a donation from the sales will go towards funding the RC Silves Children's Charity Fund.
Whilst in the town of Lagoa, tourists may also be interested in taking in the region's Igreja de Misericordia church, which dates back to the 18th century, as well as the almost 300-year-old Convento do Sao Jose building.
