Algarve Chefs Week beginning in Faro International Airport
The first Algarve Chefs Week will be getting underway soon, with those taking up holiday villas in the region being given a perfect opportunity to get involved.
Kicking off the occasion will be an event held at Faro International Airport on Saturday (May 14th), where ten of the contestants will be on site.
Each of the chefs will be meeting and greeting tourists arriving in the Algarve for getaways, as well as preparing local delicacies for people to try.
The attraction is built around head chefs from a range of five-star hotels in the region competing to show off their skills in the kitchen.
Mario Candeias, Algarve Chefs Week spokesperson, commented: "Algarve Chefs Week will now be a major event on the Algarve cuisine calendar, perfectly showcasing the fantastic produce, talent and ambience of Europe's most famous secret and ensuring a unique experience is delivered to each and every visitor."
One way in which Brits will be able to see the event will be through new routes that are now being offered to the Algarve's travel hub by Ryanair from Robin Hood Airport.
