Albuferia holiday resort puts Algarve on display
Images of the Algarve's stunning natural beauty will be displayed in Albuferia's municipal library between November 6th and January 3rd for the 34th international photographic art fair.
Racal Clube is organising the event, which uses photography to promote the region, as well as the picturesque village of Albuferia, which has long been a favourite destination for Brits looking for Algarve family villa holidays.
Portugal's Algarve coast provides ideal subject matter for photographers, not just because of its rugged beauty but because of the conditions it offers for shooting.
Local photographer Paulo writes on AlgarveBuzz: "I prefer natural light over anything else and the Algarve has plenty of that."
Recognised by the international federation of photographic art and the photographic society of America, the exhibition encourages local Portuguese photographers as well as displaying the work of international prize winners.
