"I think guests with very young children should be warned that the outside area is not fenced off, therefore, children need to to supervised at all times when outside, not just around the pool area, as some parts have steep drops."

"Casa Amendoeira, Estoi is a really beautiful villa with amazing views!!! The rooftop at night, looking out over Faro and up at the stars, is a sight that will stay in my memory for a long time! The photos in the brochure and the ones I took don't do it justice! I would visit this villa again and again! Only wish the pool could be heated as it was obviously a little cold in May."

"As previously stated. The villa was excellant, but the climb to the villa even in the car was difficult. I thank god that we didn't arrive at night, we would not have found the villa as the only sign was a stone with the villa name on it. I do feel that the climb should be put in the discription, bearing in mind that not all people want to go out in a car."

"i have used james villas for the last six years with and without family and friends, and i can honestly say i have not had a less than great time, wether on my own for peace and quiet or part of a family group with children and grandchildren,having a private villa and pool allows for a freedom not found anywhere else!!"

"It would be help full if the information received about the villa stated that washing up liquid was supplied but not washing powder. small thing like salt and pepper would be good even if in individal sachets. other wise the villa was just what the description said would go a again just need to save up now. thank you for a wonderful holiday."

"Having been on several James Villa holidays, we have always been looking for the 'perfect' villa - Casa Desiree is the closest to perfection that we have found - wonderful villa, fantastic views, very well equipped, very secluded and off the beaten track and an excellent maid too! The track to the villa is a little hair-raising but well worth it. We will return!"
