This beautiful stone church dates back to 1622 and has been carefully restored. All the original architectural features have been preserved whilst providing all the stylish, modern amenities required by holiday makers. Casa Sussanna is set amongst picturesque vineyards and olive trees native to the Puglian countryside.
The nearest town is Castellana Grotte, famous for its caves, and the UNESCO world heritage town of Alberobello is located only 12kms away.

Castellana Grotte is a buzzing little country town famous for its caves or "grotte", after which the town is named. As the caves are on the edge of town though, in high season Castellana is not packed with day trippers. The town of Castellana is delightful in a way that only old world Italian towns can be. It stands on a hilltop overlooking sweeping plains and vineyards. Its oldest street was built during the 17th century so you'll be able to stroll past the ornately frescoed Palazzo Longo and enjoy the fascinating little shops and bustling restaurants. Ancient churches, picture postcard piazzas and clock towers add to the charm. The UNESCO World Heritage town of Alberobello is close by and is renowned for its concentration of 'Trulli Houses' that are unique to Puglia.
