A beautiful traditional ’trullo’ farmhouse, Casa Maraffa is located in the picturesque Puglian countryside, an undulating landscape of arable farmland, only ten minutes drive from the town of Alberobello with its charming streets of ’trulli’, restaurants and bars.
The house has been renovated and lovingly restored to a very high standard, preserving the conical roofed trulli unique to Puglia, but incorporating modern design of a barn conversion which creates a stylish, spacious interior. The stone floors that run throughout the house extend to the spacious terraces, perfect for outside dining.
The stunning fitted kitchen has a huge dining table that comfortably seats 10 and makes for very sociable indoor dining. The lounge area is equipped with comfortable sofas, TV, DVD and stereo. Leading off the lounge area is one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and a bathroom with a fabulous free-standing bath and separate shower. The other 3 double/ twin bedrooms are in the barn section of the house (accessed by an external door) and each have en suite shower room. All the five bedrooms have air conditioning.
The brand new swimming pool is set just below the house, immersed in the picturesque countryside. The pool is accessed via a small gate, making it safer for small children. There is ample space for sun loungers.
The trullo is equipped with all modern facilities needed for a self catering holiday. Casa Maraffa is perfect for both families and groups of friends looking for a high quality villa holiday in the heart of Puglia.

Resort: Alberobello in Puglia
Alberobello is one of the most visited towns in Italy and was granted Unesco World Heritage site status in 1966. The old part of town, Monti, is filled with hundreds of the typical Puglian Trulli - the conical stone houses that can be found scattered throughout the Puglian countryside. Many of the Trulli have been converted to gift shops and restaurants and in high season the town becomes a very popular attraction for day trippers.
