The impressive main villa, with its rich, cinnamon-coloured exterior, brilliant white columns and traditional terracotta roof tiles, is situated amid manicured green lawns, iconic cypress trees and towering pines. Giant original sculptures and oversized planters overflowing with lush foliage provide stunning focal points around the extensive landscaped gardens, along with a magnificent 20 metre pool.

Inside, the vast, double height lounge and dining area is flooded with light from floor to ceiling windows, framed on the outside by graceful Tuscan arches. The huge modern fireplace forms a dramatic centrepiece while a gleaming white staircase appears to float up to the mezzanine floor. Upstairs, there’s a further seating area and a view from the gallery of a striking silk fresco stretching the full height of the building. A separate glass-walled living room offers a quiet spot in which to relax, with views across both the front and rear gardens.

The seven simply yet elegantly furnished bedrooms, six with en suites, are cool and restful, with plenty of storage space and flexible sleeping options to suit your group’s requirements.

A bright, fully fitted kitchen leading out through patio doors to the garden has been perfectly equipped to cater for larger parties. However, one of the villa’s greatest assets is its fabulous pool house, open on two sides to enjoy cooling breezes and a wonderful view of the garden. Complete with all the appliances needed to rustle up delicious alfresco meals, including an all-important pizza oven, this superb feature is guaranteed to offer an atmospheric setting for fun, casual dining.

Famed for its olive groves and pine forests, the countryside around this area is simply breathtaking. It’s just a short walk from the villa to the pretty village of Ventabren while the distinctively Provençal city of Aix en Provence, with its array of first class restaurants, delightful squares and tree-lined avenues, is only 15 kms away.

This spectacular villa is located next to a smaller sister property which could be rented alongside La Toscane to allow particularly large groups to holiday together.
