Just a few miles inland from the coast, the picturesque old Roman town of Pollensa offers a traditional Mallorcan experience. Wander around its narrow cobbled streets, discover crafts and clothes shops and join in the relaxed café life - Spanish style. You can purchase fruit, vegetables, cheese and olives direct from the farmers at the Sunday market, which is located on the Placa Major and the maze of little streets leading up to the Calvari steps. "The villa was superb - home from home for us as we live in the countryside surrounded by fields and this villa is a very similar situation. Very peaceful and private, yet within a five minute drive into Pollenca. The one area which could be improved is the bed linen and towels - these were rather shabby and worn. Otherwise, absolutely excellent. "
