Just a few miles inland from the coast, the picturesque old Roman town of Pollensa offers a traditional Mallorcan experience. Wander around its narrow cobbled streets, discover crafts and clothes shops and join in the relaxed café life - Spanish style. You can purchase fruit, vegetables, cheese and olives direct from the farmers at the Sunday market, which is located on the Placa Major and the maze of little streets leading up to the Calvari steps. "Absolutely fantastic. Met the gentleman who saw to the pool and general maintainance - he was very helpful. His wife cleaned the villa which was spotless.
I took my 85 year old mother on this holiday so, for us, one improvement would have been a handrail by the steps of the pool - she loves to swim but had some difficulty getting in and out. "

"The villa was much nicer than we expected; in a very quiet and secluded spot but with lots of great towns and beaches within 20 mins drive. It was very clean and had lots of extras we weren't expecting like access to UK TV (although the signal seemed a bit unreliable with some channels), pool inflatables, tupperware for picnics and even chickens in the adjoining field (which the kids loved feeding every morning). We would happily return again. "

"Holidaying with James Villas was right at the very top end of our budget but we were very very pleased with our villa. Whoever cleans and maintains it should be praised as the cleanliness and equipment provided were exceptional as was the friendliness of the gardener/pool attendant and cleaners.
