Resort: Playa Blanca in Lanzarote
A pretty, bustling resort with a sandy beach and popular promenade, Playa Blanca is the most southerly resort on the Island of Lanzarote and is only 15 kilometres from the Timanfaya National Park. There are four stretches of shoreline, and close by is the nature reserve of Papagayo which hosts the best beaches on the island. The resort has a large harbour shared by fishing boats and ferries that take you to Fuerteventura. Take a water taxi from central Playa Blanca to the Marina Rubicon; home to smart yachts moored in a private marina. Pavement cafés and good seafood restaurants offer a relaxing atmosphere in which to unwind in the evening. The resort is host to several markets throughout the week offering local handicrafts.
"We stayed at this villa last year and knew it was very good and the things we thought could make it excellant they had done
The only down side is the distance to the centre where the restraunts are but we took that as a means to walk off our dinner. You do need a torch our grandson sat in his buggy with a head torch on he enjoyed it and it woked well "
Mr Adams, Winsford, October 2011
"We last stayed here in February, and the new staff looking after Casa Theo are a massive improvement over the previous staff. Villa was a lot cleaner and better maintained. "
Mr Scott, Hawick, April 2011
"Villa was excellent, could have done to receive some more British channels on the satellite tv though "
Mrs Appleby, Stockton-on-Tees, December 2009
"Loved the good quality towels. More mugs or cups would have been useful. "
Miss Cahill, Knottingley, June 2008
"It was the best holiday we have ever had. The apartment was amazing and we enjoyed every part of our holiday. Thank you so very much. "
Mrs Smith, Solihull, March 2008
"We were very pleased with the standard of our villa, we were a little dispointed that there were only 3 or four sky tv channels, other than that it was home from home, and we think we would had trouble staying in a hotel after having the freedom of a James villa. Gemma- Solihull "
Ms Davies, Bristol, April 2007
"The standard of the villa was excellent in every respect as was the service of all the James Villa's staff we had contact with. "
