Resort: Playa Blanca in Lanzarote
A pretty, bustling resort with a sandy beach and popular promenade, Playa Blanca is the most southerly resort on the Island of Lanzarote and is only 15 kilometres from the Timanfaya National Park. There are four stretches of shoreline, and close by is the nature reserve of Papagayo which hosts the best beaches on the island. The resort has a large harbour shared by fishing boats and ferries that take you to Fuerteventura. Take a water taxi from central Playa Blanca to the Marina Rubicon; home to smart yachts moored in a private marina. Pavement cafés and good seafood restaurants offer a relaxing atmosphere in which to unwind in the evening. "The villa was superb, it would have been good if there had been cleaning materials left so that we could clean on a daily basis or alternatively when the towels are changed the bathrooms etc are cleaned also. The pool maintainence was excellent and the staff very friendly and informative. "

"It was the first time that we had booked a James Villa holiday, and we were a bit worried as we booked on-line for the first time too. But we needn't have worried. The villa was excellent, we were really pleased with everything. It was just as it was descibed on the website.
