This homely stone house sits in the tiny village of Divsici, just a short drive away from Vodnjan and Marcana where there are several restaurants, bars and shops. The house is comfortably furnished and the fitted kitchen has a lovely shaded patio ideal for al fresco breakfast and in full view of the swimming pool. At the rear of the garden, there is also a built in barbeque house with bench seating, a wonderful spot for lunch! Divsici is a traditional farming village and the inhabitants are friendly and hospitable. Look out for the fishmonger who will pause at the gate on some mornings to offer fresh fish of the day, or the grocer who winds his way around the country lanes, calling at the villages along the way, two or three times a week.

On the road from Pula to Rovinj, Vodnjan is a busy little market town rightly known for its selection of renowned restaurants, including reputably the best pizzeria in Istria! There are several shops, bars and restaurants as well as a large supermarket and a chemist.
