Experienced Contractor

A great opportunity has arisen for an Experienced Contractor who, can draw on their previous contracting skills and knowledge to join our busy and exciting Product and Contracting team, based in Maidstone.

We are looking for an enthusiastic team member to help drive new product initiatives, negotiate or re-negotiate commercially profitable contracts and both manage and develop the product assigned in your areas.

This key individual will be responsible for: product selection, negotiating the best possible commercial terms for all contractual agreements, maintaining and building good working relationships both internally around the business and externally with overseas suppliers, carrying out quality and Health and Safety inspections, brochure and website product management and working to tight deadlines.

The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years contracting experience within the Travel sector, be able to work under pressure, highly organised and work well as part of team. Language skills will be an advantage.

Applicants should have a full clean driving license and be able to travel overseas at short notice.

Overseas Health & Safety Manager (Maidstone)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Health and Safety Manager who, drawing on their tour operations expertise, will drive to continuously improve levels of efficiency and effectiveness in resort in this business critical specialist field.

The key aims of this pivotal new role are to take responsibility for the management and implementation of overseas health, safety and emergency response policies and procedures to maximise customer safety in resort, ensure key stakeholders operationally support the process, and promote a positive health and safety culture across the business.

Duties will include management of the health and safety system (Pass3), organisation and delivery of training activities, and providing on-going support and advice to key stakeholders.

Working closely with our resort team and local suppliers the successful candidate will have a 'hands on' approach and work well under pressure. A self motivated individual with drive for getting results who pays strong attention to detail and can manage a complex workload. A good working knowledge of MS office is required along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

A Tour Operations background at supervisory or managerial level is essential and resort based experience preferred. Knowledge of PASS3 health and safety system is also advantageous.

Overseas Health & Safety Administrator (Maidstone)

The post holder will be responsible for the collation and input of health and safety audits to our PASS3 database system as well as follow up action to ensure customer safety.

Duties will include data entry, general administrative support to key stakeholders, and liaison with local suppliers and resort staff.

A good working knowledge of MS office is required along with excellent written, verbal and communication skills. Applicants must also be highly organised, thorough, and pay strong attention to detail.

The role will involve some overseas travel, sometimes at short notice.

Previous administrative experience gained within health and safety / tour operations is preferred. Knowledge of PASS3 health and safety system is also advantageous.
