Nightlife in the area of Disney Area and Kissimmee

Old Town
Designed with an ‘old west’ style town feel, Old Town is the ideal place for families to visit who are looking for an entertaining evening outside of Disney World. At the centre a theme park, with a variety of rides for children and adults alike, surrounded by a choice of eateries, whether you are looking for themed diners, fast food options or fine dining. If you are looking to shop, Old Town boasts an abundance of unique shops and sidewalk vendors to catch your eye. Known for it’s car shows, including the popular Saturday Nite Cruise, attracting cars from 1974 and before which cruise down the streets to the tune of a live band on the main stage.

CityWalk
An eclectic collection of themed restaurants, nightclubs, shops and a 20-screen movie theatre, Universal CityWalk is one of most popular spots in Orlando for entertainment, boasting the biggest names in live music, dining, dancing, movies and more. The expansive, two-tiered promenade features shopping, entertainment and dining venues and sits at the entrance of both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure theme parks.

Vineyards

Situated around 30 minutes’ drive from Walt Disney World Resort, Lakeridge Winery & Vineyards sit on a 127 acre estate in Clermont, offering daily winery tours and tastings.

Cruises

A popular activity in Orlando, Airboat rides offer the opportunity to learn about the environment and the animals that live within the waters of Orlando. With many companies offering daily excursions from 30 minute rides to day tours.

Local sporting events

Amway Center
The Amway Center, situated in downtown Orlando, is a great place to visit for sporting fans, with regular basketball, arena football and ice hockey games held here.

ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex
ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex is a 220-acre facility playing host to over 170 amateur and professional events each year, hosting more than 60 sports across ten world-class venues. More than 200 events take place each year at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, from baseball to basketball, soccer to golf.

Botanical gardens

Harry P.Leu Gardens
A beautiful 50-acre botanical oasis minutes from downtown Orlando, hours can be spent at Harry P.Leu Gardens exploring the gardens, and taking in the wide variety of plants and flowers on show. Amidst the gardens is a mansion house, with guided tours on offer, it is well worth a visit.

A theme park paradise, Orlando has a whole host on offer to keep all ages entertained! From Legoland; a 150-acre family park with fantastic interactive attractions geared for families and Lego lovers from ages 3-12, to Seaworld; a wonderful marine-animal park, where you can meet Shamu the world-famous killer-whale, as well as ride the only floorless rollercoaster. Not to forgot Walt Disney World Resort; with not only six renowned Disney Parks, but also two exciting entertainment districts and a state of the art sports complex. And if that isn’t enough then experience the excitement of Universal Orlando Resort, with two great theme parks on offer, and the non-stop nightlife of the Universal CityWalk entertainment complex.

Water Parks

You will be spoilt for choice for water parks in Orlando, from SeaWorld’s Aquatica; inspired by the exotic South Sea Islands, a clever combination of wild and wacky water rides, azure lagoons, aquatic animal attractions and pristine white sandy beaches await you, to Wet ‘n Wild; giving you more themed multi-person thrill rides than any other waterpark and the largest family water play area in Florida. As well as Disney’s Blizzard Beach; a one-time ski resort that has melted into a watery wonderland, and Typhoon Lagoon; offering a storm of fun in the sun.

The pretty town of Celebration, originally created by Walt Disney for staff to reside, is now what can only be described as an idealistic community brimming with locals, with its’ streets lined with pretty and impressive houses. At the heart is the Town Center, with a lake at its centre, overlooked by a choice of shops, cafes and restaurants – an idyllic place to spend time away from the parks and mixing with the locals.

Gatorland
Gatorland is a popular 110-acre theme park and wildlife preserve, combining ‘Old Florida’ charm with exciting exhibits and entertainment, showcasing thousands of alligators and crocodiles. From the free-flight aviary, petting zoo and animal shows, to the natural alligator breeding marsh and Screamin’ Gator Zip Line – it is certainly a unique experience while in Florida!

Kennedy Space Center
If you ever dreamed of being an astronaut, you'll have the chance to live out those dreams at the Kennedy Space Center. For one incredible day you'll experience the reality of life as an astronaut at NASA's launch headquarters in Orlando set on its own huge island eight times the size of Manhattan!

Balloon Rides
Ever thought about seeing Orlando from the air, this popular excursion allows you to enjoy a birds eye view over not only the parks but the other scenery and wildlife Florida has to offer.

Ripley's Believe It or Not
Situated on International Drive, Ripley’s Believe It or Not gives you the chance to explore an amazing variety of exhibits, artifacts and displays in 16 galleries that pay tribute to the odd, bizarre and unbelievable. Marvel at the collection of weird and unusual relics and rare treasures.

Water sports
With many lakes in Orlando, there are plenty of opportunities for water sports enthusiasts, from paddle boarding, to jet skiing and wakeboarding.

Mini-golf
It would be difficult to drive through Orlando without a mini or crazy golf catching your eye, from pirate themed to a glow in the dark course, even one where you can meet a gator! Ideal for enjoying some time away from the parks.

WonderWorks
Located on International Drive, this zany attraction combines education and entertainment with more than 100 hands on exhibits that challenge the mind and spark the imagination. Set up as a once top secret laboratory, that was home to an experiment gone wrong which lifted the laboratory carrying it to Orlando, where it landed upside done, along with everything inside of it!

Fun Spot
Located just off of International Drive, this classic family owned theme park offers entertainment for the whole family at a reasonable cost, with 4 multi level go kart tacks, arcades and a good selection of rides.

Renowned for its array of championship golf courses, Orlando offers a whole host of courses to challenge your skills.
