Resort: Latchi in Cyprus
Set on the island's north west coast, the picturesque fishing village of Latchi lies on the edge of the beautiful Akamas National Park. The village offers the ideal place for relaxation with its laid-back lifestyle, whilst quiet shingle beaches stretch along the shore. The coastal road separates the clear blue seas, pretty shoreline and local amenities from the surrounding lush green countryside. At the harbour, sit back and enjoy a seafood meal in one of the harbour side tavernas and watch the boats depart.
"What an absolutely fantastic villa you have on "Melody".
The villa has provided everything & more -haven't wanted or needed for anything.
Like some of your other guests, we have had about 5/6 trips to Cyprus with James Villa but this stay has definitely surpassed them all- appropriately given the description "Best of James".
"
Mr Brett, Horsham, September 2011
"We have had a wonderful holiday in your lovely 'Villa Melody', the best villa we have stayed in, you have thought of everything.
Thank you for your excellent company and making us feel so welcome. We hope to be back.
"
Mr Clarke, Bristol, September 2011
"The villa was even better than we expected, it was extremely well equipped and very comfortable, the location was perfect and very peaceful. We were lucky enough to meet the owners of the villa, they were very friendly and welcoming. "
Mr Clarke, Bristol, September 2011
"The villa is just great. We have been to Cyprus for the past 26 years. The villa is one of the 'Best' we have visited.
Thank you again for a lovely 2 weeks, very hot, very relaxing. "
Mr Orgill, Market Drayton, July 2011
"The best villa we've been to - very spacious, clean and well equipped. "
Mr Jack, Canonbie, June 2011
"A simply stunning villa. It is advertised as a Best of James but as I recorded in the villa visitors book it is SIMPLY THE BEST. "
Mr Jack, Canonbie, June 2011
"From the guest book: This is our 6th holiday in this area of Cyprus and the 4th in a James Villa.
Our intention this week was to relax and 'Chill out'. You could not have asked for better surroundings than 'Villa Melody' to achieve this.
The warm and friendly welcome on the first evening was unexpected but very welcome. What a lovely family.
The owner said that this house was her dream and it is not difficult to see why. A beautiful house in tranquil surroundings.
Villa Melody is listed as a Best of James. It's more than that. It's "Simply the Best"

"Second Visit to Villa Melody love the area the villa the owners are fantastic makes for a brilliant holiday "
Mr Portman, Sutton-in-Ashfield, September 2010
"A beautiful villa in a beatiful place. Thoroughly enjoyed our week and will definately be recommending it to our friends and family.
Thank you for the flowers and cake (scrummy!) and also for taking us for drinks and baklava. We were made to feel very welcome. "
Mr Earp, North Walsham, August 2010
"Villa Melody exceeded all our expectations. Although we had seen the fantastic pictures on the James website, nothing could have prepared us for how superb the villa and its surroundings would actually be.
Even Anthony (ages 14), who hadnt wanted to come on holiday because he would miss his friends was completely taken aback with the villa, pool and games room.
This is our 4th visit to Cyprus- the first 16 years ago and we have noticed how much the country has changed over the years- particularly Paphos which become very commercialised. However we have found this area to be largely unspoilt and we had a very relaxing holiday. We have been to the beach at the Baths of Aphrodite many times and enjoyed snorkelling there.
Latchi is also very picturesque and w have eaten out every night. We would like to explore the Arkansas Peninsuala much more but it has been so hot that we have spent a lot of time by the pool- we will definately come back again to see more. "
Mr Todd, Wallsend, May 2010
"What a wonderful week!. The villa was perfect. This is our first villa holiday, and i must say the villa owners have certainly set the bar high! It will be tough to find a villa anywhere else this good. Could'nt keep Adam out of the games room, and Amy's second home seemed to be the pool (i'm sure shes growing gills)
This was our first visit to Cyprus, and the hospitality of the Cypriot people and especially the villa owners made this one of the best holiday our familys had. Ive just got a years hard work to do before we can come back. "
Mr Pearson, Castleford, May 2010
"We had such a warm welcome from the owners on our arrival at Villa Melody. We have stayed in many villas over the past six years but found Melody to be our favourite.
It has all the makings of a 'fantastic holiday' a very well equipped and comfortable villa, and the games room has been a bonus! ive become a very keen pool player since being here! The villa owners work so hard to make everything so perfect from the towels perfectly placed out on the beds to the lovely flowers which they provided and arranged on the dining table. Thank you for the cake- it was superb- enough to feed a family of six but somehow the two of us managed it.
The nights out with the owners made us feel like we were part of the family. Latchi is such a lovely place with so many places nearby to explore the quaint village of neo chorio with its little narrow streets, we felt so at home at Villa Melody, the oweners should be very proud, they have done a superb job. "
Mr Findon, Crawley, April 2010
"I have had such a lovely week here! the villa is really nice and so is the surrounding area. The villa owner was very welcoming and bought us a cake which was delicious. The food in the restuarents was lovely and have many things which i found out i liked and will try again. The week was so relaxing that i hope to come back here again in the future.
Thank you again! "
Mr Bailey, Congleton, August 2009
"Well we have just enjoyed a fabulous two weeks in this villa and the surrounding area. Not only is the property great to enjoy nu the warmth of the owners is second to none. Sunny every day, sometimes up to 41 degrees and not a spot of rain made this house a perfect oasis. As with the previous family we will be back! "
Mrs Harley, London, July 2009
"We have had a fabulous time in your beautiful villa, and feel very lucky to be amongst the first to stay here. The house is so well equipped, we found everything we needed and enjoyed experimenting with the Cypriot barbeque. The kids loved the pool, and we thoroughly recommend a boat trip from Latchi to swim in the Blue Lagoon and a trip to the beach.
Many thanks for your hospitality and we hope to be back soon for a longer break! "
