St. Raphael has risen to stardom as one of the richest towns on the Cote d'Azur. It is an important resort and has been popular with holidaymakers since the early twentieth century, hence St Raphael is known for its wonderful sandy beaches and maritime pursuits, such as diving and boat trips to local sites of interest. The beaches run from the new port of Santa Lucia to the old port in the town centre. From the gare maritime in the old port, or vieux port, you can take boat trips out to the Îles d'Hyères and St-Tropez, and the Îles de Lérins towards Cannes. "Mostly excellent. Additional facilities for outdoor cooking would have been nice. Wine glasses would have been appreciated, but otherwise plenty of crockery and very good kitchen facilities. "

"The Villa was perfect excaltly hat I was expecting and the servicve provided by the owner was excellent he gave us a real sense that he was concerned for our welfare whilst away and gave us the assurance of been able to contact him or his house keeper should we encounter any problems at all with either the villa or if an accident occured whilst out "
