Mar Menor Golf Resort is set within a beautiful position in the Murcian countryside, framed by a stunning mountain backdrop. The resort offers a fantastic Jack Nicklaus designed 18 hole golf course, as well as paddle tennis facilities and an Intercontinental Hotel, which houses a luxurious spa and gym. If you’re looking for a family holiday, Mar Menor is also a great choice, with a kids' playground available and the El Boulevard complex, which houses some great new restaurants. The resort is a superb base for exploring the surrounding area, with the popular town of Los Alcázares with its beach and variety of restaurants and bars close by, as well as the bustling city of Murcia, which is only a 35 minute drive away. "We wanted a 'relax by the pool' type of holiday. This perfectly fit the bill. The pool is large, clean and well kept. The villa itself is very comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised to find we had a pool man visit, and that our towels and linen were changed midway through our one week stay. My children were delighted to have a private pool they could jump and play in, and equally delighted to find Satellite TV they could flop in front of, once they had worn themselves out!! The box of toys was also an added bonus. We returned home feeling relaxed and refreshed (and wishing we could have stayed longer!) "

"We chose this villa so our three children would have plenty of other children to play with, though on reflection we would have preferred somewhere more isolated. The villa itself was excellent though. "
