Resort: Calpe in Costa Blanca
Calpe is a popular, bustling resort, best known for its balance of historic Valencian culture and modern tourist facilities. Three glorious sandy Blue Flag beaches are divided by the dramatic, craggy height of the Peñón de Ifach rock which stands over 300 metres tall and can be seen for miles, providing a fantastic landmark up and down the coast. On one side is the harbour with its fantastic choice of restaurants, while on the other is the resort centre filled with shops, bars and array of night-time entertainment. Calpe is ideally positioned in the centre of the Costa Blanca’s coastline, making it an ideal base for exploring the delights of this part of Spain, whether it is countryside, architecture, water parks or beaches you seek! The majority of our villas in Calpe are within a short drive or 30 minute walk of the bustling town centre.
"A beautiful, modern villa. No fussiness - just clean and practical. A fantastic location (very quiet) with a stunning view of the sea. Lovely, comfortable beds. Showers were powerful, and the bathrooms (3) were all spotless. The kitchen had everything needed for a self catering holiday. Loved the gated complex idea - with remote control to operate - so felt very safe especially at night sitting outside whilst the children were tucked up in bed. If I had to be picky the only thing that was a problem was the parking - very tight - I had to do a six point maneuver to get into the garage space and had to empty out the children before this was carried out!! We did have a larger family car so something smaller may not experience this! "
