Resort: Torrox in Andalucia
Torrox Pueblo is a typical Spanish village with a quaint square, church, a few bars and a local market. A few kilometres away down on the coast, Torrox Costa has an impressive promenade lined with restaurants, pavement cafés and bars. With nine kilometres of coastline, Torrox is home to a long straight beach. A typical evening here is spent strolling from bar to bar, sampling the region’s tapas and selection of wines. Most of our villas are situated in the countryside around Torrox Pueblo with great views over the mountains and sea. Here, you can relax in the peace and tranquillity of your rural villa – with seaside fun and traditional Spanish village life just a short distance away.
To reach the majority of our properties, you have to drive off the beaten track along unsurfaced mountain roads where you’ll get a real away-from-it-all feeling. When you take in the stunning views from your villa it will make the journey entirely worthwhile.

"The photographs do not do this villa justice and some need updating. The panoramic view to the sea and the cooling breeze even on the hottest days together with the fully enclosed area all on one level make this a fantastic villa for family. "

"The villa was lovely and in a location which was secluded but had superb views. The villa was in good condition and nicely furnished. The kitchen was well equipped, although it would have been nice to have a couple of dishwasher tablets and some washing-up liquid to start us off, since it is in a fairly remote location and not easy to pop out and get shopping ! We had a wonderful stay - the James Rep was extremely helpful and the caretaker and cleaner were also very friendly and helpful. Thanks for a great holiday ! "

"We wonder why this is not a 'Best of James' Villa? Maybe the combined kitchen/dining/lounge area is a bit too small for 6 people, but that is all we can think of in what is a truly outstanding villa. "

"This was our 8th James Villa holiday and we thought the garden and pool were fantastic, the villa itself was not as good as the others that we have stayed in - we're not surprised that La Higuera is no longer 'best of James'. "

"We had a fabulous holiday despite a few hiccups, like a dysfinctional shower, broken dish washer, and an onernight power cut! The response by the rep to these issues was immediate wiyh good results. Made even better with the news that we should have a meal courtesy of Jamesvillas due to the inconvenience we had. This gesture was well received and confirmed and excellent and professional service.
