Resort: Frigiliana in Andalucia
One of the most beautiful villages in Spain, with whitewashed houses piled up on steep narrow slopes, Frigiliana sits in the foothills of the Sierra de Tejeda Mountains. Explore the narrow, winding streets and steps of the old Moorish and Medieval quarter where ceramic tile plaques detailing the village’s history adorn brightly painted houses. You can also stop off at an old world wine cellar where you can sample the famous local vintage straight from the barrel. There are many fine restaurants serving traditional Spanish cuisine and little shops selling local, handcrafted items tucked away in the winding streets, just waiting to be discovered.

"The villa is compact internally, but has wonderful outdoor space and a great view down the valley to the sea. Overall a quality villa. "

"Villa Antonio Ortega was well kept, very clean with a lot of attention to details to ensure a pleasant stay. It was located in a nice and peaceful location which while easy to reach, was still remote enough to give a real away from it all feel. Nice views in all directions and sun on the pool area from early morning to sunset. Would definately return again. "

"The villa was lovely and the location was great. We've booked many times with James and have never really had any problems but this time I was slightly disappointed that there wasn't even a cloth to wipe down the kitchen surface - best of James we expect a little more. These kind of basic cleaning things you don't really expect to have to buy. Otherwise, great. We even met Senor Antonio Ortega himself! "

"Antonia Ortega was an outstanding villa. Everything we could have wanted was provided for us and the cleanliness and attention to detail in the furnishings was fabulous. Location was fantastic if only the weather had been as kind to us! The only thing I would say is that the description of the villa on the website does not mention a sea view and this was the icing on the cake for us! Thanks James, you did it again! "

"This was our 3rd holiday with James and the best so far. This villa was outstanding and the owner was charming. We had a wonderful holiday and the villa was everything and more than we hoped. The local town was gorgeous and the car hire was so so easy - just great all round. One tiny thing - the directions to the villa are more complicated than they need to be and therefore a bit confusing - perhaps someone should re-write them - having said that we found it eventually and it was a case of once you know the track it was easy. "

Mr Dowe, Lewes, May 2008
"The holiday was everything described in the brochure and more, but we will never use Malaga Airport again, next time will fly to Seville and drive the extra distance. "
Mr Smith, Deal, April 2008
"Had a truely good holiday at antonio ortega, Could have used a parasol if available for elderly family to sit by pool and still enjoy sun. Am a regular holiday traveller with james villas and am looking to go back some where with you in october. Regards Keith (keep up good work). "
Mrs Sharpe, Colchester, October 2007
"I have experienced 2 James Villa holidays this year one with 2 grown up children and one with just my husband and they have both been very enjoyable experiences and would have no hesitation in booking a villa next year. "
