Rich in history, St Barbara de Nexe is a quiet village built on the site of a Bronze Age hill fort with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside and down to the coast. The central point of the village is the 400 year old white-walled church which can be found on the main street. Here and at nearby Estoi, the villagers still make traditional baskets and hats from plaited palm leaves. "It was a lovely villa in a quiet location with glorious views.The kitchen was well equipped and the dishwasher much appreciated. This is our 4th Villa holiday and the 2nd this year and we really cannot fault James Villas for the service.In fact we really can't imagine having to deal with crowds in a hotel ever again. "
