This modern well appointed villa enjoys an elevated position in the peaceful Alcaria Cova area of Estoi. Accessed via a track, the drive is well worth the journey where panoramic views of the Faro coastline and countryside are yours to enjoy, although a small hire car is advisable. The interior is well equipped and furnished to a high standard throughout. Outside a few steps lead down from the spacious verandah to the lovely pool area where you can fully appreciate the tranquilty of this area.

Resort: Estoi in Algarve
Estoi is an unspoilt, quaint little hilltop town, nestled in the foothills of the Serra do Caldeirão. Narrow, cobbled streets wind through this charming resort to the central town square, where you will find the impressive town church and a handful of cafes where you can enjoy a coffee and a cake. On the second Sunday of each month a market is held on the outskirts of Estoi, where a variety of clothing and handmade crafts as well as fruit and vegetables can be picked up. Estoi also boasts two architectural gems, one is the gently crumbling Palacio de Estoi, known as the Pink Palace, and the other is the Milreu Roman ruins, one of the first villas built in the Algarve by the Romans.Other properties in Estoi

"Having been on several James Villa holidays, we have always been looking for the 'perfect' villa - Casa Desiree is the closest to perfection that we have found - wonderful villa, fantastic views, very well equipped, very secluded and off the beaten track and an excellent maid too! The track to the villa is a little hair-raising but well worth it. We will return! "
