Located in a spectacular, elevated position in the less developed eastern Algarve, Castro Marim Golfe enjoys 360 degree views, including the shimmering waters of the Atlantic to the south and the hills forming the border with Spain to the north. From the quaint little town of Castro Marim, with its simple white houses and terracotta roofs, medieval castle and ancient fort, it’s just a short drive across the Guadiana River road bridge to Spain, and only 140 kms to magnificent Seville. Also close by are the attractive port city of Vila Real de Santo António and seaside town of Monte Gordo, great spots to indulge in a little retail therapy or to watch the world go by over a glass of Portuguese vinho.
