Resort: Albufeira in Algarve
Albufeira is perhaps the biggest and best-loved resort in the Algarve. Golden sands and brightly coloured fishing boats, lively nightlife and a wide range of restaurants and bars – Albufeira truly has something for everyone. The winding cobbled streets and steep alleyways of the old town, with its terracotta-roofed houses and bustling market add a touch of tradition – whilst nearby, a marina infuses cosmopolitan style. Most of our villas in Albufeira are situated in residential areas, a short drive from the main town centre. Here you’ll find a wonderful selection of beaches from the pretty golden sands at Galé to intimate little coves, rock pools and gentle sands at Castelo, Coelha and Sao Rafael. A short drive inland is the tranquil haven of Vale de Parra and Cerro d’Aguia, and the charming village of Guia - famed for its chicken piri-piri restaurants, and also nearby is Zoo-Marine and ocean life theme park.

"A veritable home from home with everything you could possibly need. The owner provided fresh flowers and clean towels and a discreet and welcome presence throughout our stay. Although we couldn't speak each others language ,we managed very well! A little off the beaten track, but well worth it for the absolute peace and quiet, and with a car ,getting around presents no problems.Would recommend. "

"Beautiful villa & the owner is just lovely! The villa was cleaned when we didn't expect it to be within a couple of days during our stay, The outside area & pool was cleaned before we even wakened. Fresh towels were left nearly every day, even though we had a washing machine & washed our own towels every day. The only downside was the location, it was bit too far out of the way. This would have been a lot better if we had of been a bit more confident driving on the Portuguese roads. All in all a very relaxing, pleasant holiday. "

"The Lady who apparently owns the villa was fantastic, and it felt good to have her live close by. "

"Our Representative, the concierge, at the Villa, was just wonderful. Though, having no English and us, very limited, Portuguese, she made us so welcome, with cut flowers, etc at the Villa. She kept in spotlessly clean, inside and out, and was always happy and cheerful. She was a delight! "

"The car had minor damage to the exterior and was smaller than the Panda that was expected.
The villa was in a secluded location and had a walled south facing garden which provided additional privacy.
The owner of the villa (Maria) was extremely friendly. Maria kept both the inside and outside of the villa very clean and her presence was very discreet. The outside of the villa and the pool were cleaned before 8am which means that at no time was our holiday interrupted.
I would strongly recommend this villa and would almost certainly book again. "

"We had an excellent time and the villa immediately felt welcoming and like home. Great little extras around the villa such as flowers and modern ornaments and decoration.
If I had to comment on any negative points it would be that the directions we had weren't that specific and it took us a while to find the villa in the dark and got lost a few times. Maybe a sketch or a printed map would help. "

"We had a fantastic holiday and were especially pleased with the cleanliness of the villa. Please send our thanks to the lovely lady who came to our villa every two days to clean and change towels. This is much more than we expected and although we couldn't understand a single word each other said we still managed to find her kind and thoughtful ie. she ensured there were always fresh flowers from her own garden in our villa and she came out to wave us goodby when we left. We would definately like to visit this villa again in the future. "

"I have already emailed James Villas with my satisfaction of the holiday and received a very nice letter in return. "

"My wife and I enjoyed a most relaxing week in the Algarve. A small problem we had with the shower was sorted in less than 45 mins by the owner after I contacted the Rep. I would happily recommend this type of holiday. "
